Cost and cost-effectiveness of workplace-based studies for employers
Foundation Innove, that among other objectives promotes vocational education in Estonia, has commissioned a research that aims to identify the costs and benefits of workplace-based studies from the companies’ perspective. This is the first research study with a focus on cost-effectiveness of workplace-based studies in Estonia. Praxis Centre for Policy Studies will map direct and indirect costs and benefits of workplace-based learning for companies, provide an overview of its cost-effectiveness and its changes over time in the case of five curriculum groups (wholesale and retail trade, mechanics and metalwork, accommodation and food service activities, electronics and automation, forestry). The research will be completed by the end of 2017.
